My Spring wool is ready and I was planning on picking it up the same time I drop off the fall wool. I’m still waiting to hear back from our shearer Ian to see when he’ll be coming to the farm. So my plans aren’t quite there yet.
But I did talk to Liz, our previous shearer today. She still has the two ewes that I saw in the spring. Now it’s just a matter of setting up a time when Liz can bring them to us. She and Jim McRae, (who was our shearer before Liz and taught her all about sheep), will be at the Adirondack Fiber Festival this weekend doing herding demos.
Jon and I are planning on going to the Fiber Festival so I hope to see them there.
