I still don’t have a shearing date, but I’m figuring out who’s wool is long enough for shearing and who will wait till the fall. I measure their wool against my fingers, reaching down their coats to their skin and pulling the wool straight to see how long it is. I’m looking for about three inches. Lori’s wool is long enough, but Asher and Issachars wool will have to wait for the spring.
