Sewing Scraps

I tried making potholders today.  I thought they’d be a good thing to work on because they’re small.  But it wasn’t happening.  Even though the stretches of time in my studio are getting longer, I’m having a hard time concentrating.

So I continued doing the one thing that came easily and kept sewing my scraps.

I was just about done with the prints when I pulled out my scrap bag of solid colors. I started with dark colors, the blacks, and dark browns.  I imagine I’ll continue with this tomorrow.
