Walking on the road is not as satisfying as walking in the woods, but I’m grateful to have a dirt road with little traffic on it close by to walk on. Fate still tries to play the game of chase that she and Red used to play. But Zinnia never learned that game and I’d have no idea how to teach her. I think it’s a Border Collie thing.
The road was muddy, but we got a walk in during a pause in the rain. Zinnia found some puddles to run through so it was a good walk for all of us.
I used my iPhone 13 to take this photo. The Portrait setting has a new zoom lens on it, which works really well for scenes and landscapes. Not just close-up portraits. Without the super real clarity, the photos can have more atmosphere and emotion.
