We were both smiling at our cat yesterday morning. He hops out on the porch every morning when we release him from our laundry room where he sleeps. The sun was shining brightly but it was just below freezing. He kept going outside, sitting on our soft mat and planning to enjoy the sun. He could not understand why it was so cold. In and out he went–4 times before he realized it was hopeless and he retired back into the house and meowed loudly at me. Sometimes he can be read like an open book.
Ah that sun, all the animals react to it!
