My friend Kitty gave me this little book last year for my birthday.
I made my first drawing in it on January 23, 2021. It’s almost full now, only a few blank pages left. Yesterday I did the drawing above in it.
When I looked through the book I saw it was a diary of sorts, the drawings telling the story of our trips to our favorite Inn in Vermont, Jon’s foot surgery and the post-op visits to the doctor, me buying my new sewing machine and some Sunday afternoon drawings that I did in the living room.
The little mice at the bottom of the page are throughout the book, in every drawing. They go from page to page from beginning to end.
