I rarely get to see such a clear image of the donkey’s footprints. They’re either obscured in deep mud or deep snow. But there is a thin layer of snow over the ice that preserves even the tiniest footprints.
The little upside-down “u’s” made by the donkeys are so delicate compared to the bulk of Fanny and Lulu. That’s my footprint next to them, so you can see just how small they are.
You know I just have to comment right?! Haha! I Adore this photo!
Even their footprints are cute Barb. 🙂
With apologies to Mr. Wm. Shakespeare, “Though she (tread so) little, she is fierce.”
Jon gave me a blanket with that quote on it Amy:)
That’s amazing. Thanks for the info.
They sure are, Maria!
