On the coldest windiest nights, I pin a blanket over the kneeling window next to our bed. I hate to cover it up because it gives me my first glimpse the world outside our house every morning.
But the old window is no match for the wind when it’s blowing from the north.
I took this self-portrait in the window one windy night before pinning the blanket over it. I took a few pictures, some of them were so distorted, I was afraid they’d give me nightmares. I deleted them.
But I like the way this one came out. I like the texture of my nightshirt and the distortion is just enough to make it intriguing.
Riveting, enthralling and bewitching! Lovely details of a lovely lady. 🙂

Something so ethereal about this photo. It kind of also reminds me of seeing a ghost. It is hauntingly beautiful.
Thanks Barb.
It feels like Maria, but from a differant time. I love this!
Hmm Rose, That’s interesting.
