Reflections In George Forss’ Photo

 

George Forss’ photograph of the fountain in Washington Square Park in NYC hangs over our bed.  This morning when I got up, I saw our window reflected in the glass of the picture.

I took some photos of my own and found these two the most intriguing.

I like the painterly quality of the window took on when reflected in the glass and how the people in George’s photo become ghostly.

In the photo below, I become the ghost.
