I loved making these potholders so much I just may make more. But for now, I have six of these potholders for sale in my Etsy Shop. I’m calling them my Camouflage Cats and Dogs because the animals get a little lost in the patterned fabrics.
They are a little smaller than the potholders I’ve been making around 8″x8″. I’m not sure why I’m making them smaller, but it just seems to be happening so I’m going with it.
These potholders are $20 each + $5 shipping for one or more. You can see them all and buy them in my Etsy Shop. Just click here.

I could not decide what potholders to make with the batting but now I finally have. I will use a mitten design and cover the batting with two small favorite towels I have had for years–since 1965 in fact. They are in a Dutch American design–lots of little figures and although stained in places I have never had the heart to throw them out, after they descended from the bathroom to the kitchen. I remember walking down to the little city square in Carrollton, Ga, a toddler on each hand and we all three thought the design was so pretty. I have enough materials to make an extra pair for my daughter and she will remember the design I am sure. So thank you very much indeed.
Ah, that sounds not only visually lovely Erika, but filled with meaning and memories. Just right!
