I got some watercolor paper and we painted flowers today at The Mansion. I had some paper that Emily made when she and I made Gelli prints a while ago. I cut vases out of the paper and we glued them down then “put” the flowers in them.
I did a demonstration showing a few different ways to make flowers, but mostly everyone came up with their own ideas.
It was a chilly, overcast spring day, so all that color felt just right.
