I didn’t know what I’d be doing when I went to my studio this morning. What I did know was that I wanted to sew pieces of fabric together without having to think about it a whole lot.
So I dumped out two bags of scraps onto my floor and sorted them by color.
I decided to start with the black fabric…
I sewed all the black scraps together….
Then I went from the teals to the deep blues to purples…
This is as far as I got today. I think the greens come next, but I may feel different on Monday. I’ll know then.
My scrap quilt so far with the piles of fabric still to be used.
I love the look of this, Maria. I will be thinking of the possibilities as I wait to see what you do with it.
I’m right there with you Laura!:)
This is shaping up to be wonderful!
I am excited to watch this quilt morph from one color to the next. It is already very intriguing to me! I love scrap quilting. There’s really no rhyme or reason to it, just creativity flowing through fabric! Your quilt journeys are always inspiring!
That’s a good way of putting it Josie, “Creativity flowing through fabric.” And you know all about it. 🙂
