I thought I’d use the logs from the fallen maple tree as a background for the photos of my latest potholders. And of course, since I was in Bud territory, he was right there with me.
Bud was watching closely as I hung the potholder with the deer on it on the maple log. And I thought of the deer in the pasture this morning, how Bud was barking and barking at her/him and in my mind the potholder became Bud’s deer.
Bud seemed more than okay with me taking his picture with the potholder, as if he were proud for having chased the deer out of the pasture.
