I got the pink edge around my quilt and now I can start working on the backing. There’s just enough space around the quilt for me to maneuver so I can get the backing and batting pinned together and ready for sewing.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll hang it on the barn where I can see the whole thing without it draping on the floor. Just the size of it makes it kind of impressive.
As usual, I’m drawn to the small details, the things that stand out, that look like they don’t quite belong.
The pink is perfect.
