Another Women’s March

Two insects mating on a rose.

My friend Jackie and I finally got to our Walk-About today.  We met at her house and went to a trail along the Hudson River.

We saw lots on our Walk-About, which I will write about later.  While I was soaking my feet in the river,  we learned that Roe v Wade had been overturned by the Supreme Court.

So now I’m off to one of the many marches that are going on around the country to support women and our right to make their own decisions about our bodies.

  1. If I remember correctly, it was Gloria Steinem who said “If men could get pregnant, abortion would be a sacrament.”

  2. I do not understand how a very politicized arm of government can take away a right
millions of women have had for almost 50 years. And how 6 justices can see it one
way and 3 another way, except it being based on ideology.

  3. If I lived closer, I would join you in the march! I live in Kentucky. It is now illegal to get an abortion in KY. Kentucky has one of the highest rates in the country of incest, but it will be illegal for the 12 year old to get an abortion. Same with rape victims!
