A Meal For Fanny And Lulu From The Chicken Coop

Lulu and Fanny

Lulu nosed Robin out of the way when he tried to get at some of the hay I threw over the fence.  It’s old hay that I use in the chicken coop for bedding and the donkeys love it.

I’m not sure why it can’t taste as good as fresh grass.  Maybe because it’s seasoned with bits of layer mash, chicken poop, and feathers.

The good thing is that it’s like recycling the old hay one more time. Nothing wasted.

  1. “Layer mash, chicken poop and feather seasoning.” Is that the Bedlam Farm version of the “Everything” seasoning blend they put on bagels? Yum. Two donkey hooves up!
