Some of the sheep have been showing up in the morning with sticky stems and leaves in their wool. That’s what happens when they graze along the edges of the marsh. I’m not sure what this plant is, but the stem is fuzzy and sticks to their wool like velcro.
Asher was covered in the sticky plant this morning and he was fine with me pulling it off of him. Some of the other sheep wouldn’t have given me a harder time
Merricat had a small strand of the plant draped along the side of her face as if it were intentional. I thought it looked kind of pretty so I took a picture before pulling it off of her.
What a great pic, Maria. . As always, your photos give a peaceful feeling.
I’m always glad to be able to do that Joanne. Thank you for your good words
Oh what a beautiful picture – beautiful Merricat!
Maria – I hope you continue to feel better each day.
Thanks Peg.
What a lovely picture of Merricat. Even the sheep like a little bling once in a while.
Ha!
