I wore out my scraps today. The ones I was working with anyway. I still have a box of scraps that Karen sent me, but I’ll probably sort those out by color and use them a little at a time.
The scraps I finished off were from some of the last quilts and potholders I made along with a couple of baggies of random scraps from different places.
It’s very satisfying and healing, as sewing often is for me. They were the perfect pieces to be working on while I’m getting better. My potholders are so dependable and always there for me.
I probably won’t put these together till next week. I still have my Eagle Potholders to finish and I want to start something new, not that I know for sure what that is yet.
