“Little Crooked House” Potholders For Sale

My Little Crooked House Potholders for sale here.

Little Crooked Houses. That’s what I was thinking when I made these potholders. Karen gave me a bag of triangle scraps that said “roof” to me. So a roof needs a house.

My first house was a crooked one. And I liked that. It reminded me of the kid’s poem about the crooked man with the crooked cane and the crooked house.

Then I found people and animals that wanted to be outside the little crooked houses so I added them to the Potholders creating what my friend Emily said looked like “…a story unfolding.”

Maybe you can finish the story, maybe you already know it or maybe it changes as you use the potholder.

If you see one you like you can buy it in my Etsy Shop, just click here.  My Little Crooked House Potholders are $20 each + $5 shipping for one or more.

There was a crooked man, and he walked a crooked mile,
He found a crooked sixpence against a crooked stile;
He bought a crooked cat which caught a crooked mouse,
And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
