The same way cats seek warm places to sleep, the sheep find places to graze.
If the snow is too deep they’ll eat the bark off a tree or chew on the barn. This morning they were on the hill in the back pasture where snow always melts first. There isn’t much to eat, but it’s more about grazing than getting a nutritious meal.
They have hay twice a day for that.
