I got the backing sewn on the five scarves that I designed this week. Each scarf is so unique, not just because of my paintings, but because of the hankies they’re made from. Some have lacy edges and others embroidered flowers that I incorporated into the design.
Now I know that I need seven hankies for each scarf. That makes them about 70″ long.
I have my sheep potholders to finish up tomorrow, but I hope I get some time to paint some more hankies too.
They look so wonderful all laid out together like that. Mesmerizing!
