It’s been a while since my friend Emily and I have gotten together for lunch. Every time we made plans something happened to derail them. Today we met a Brown’s Brewery in Hoosick Falls. The brewery is in an old mill building on the Walloomsac River.
That’s where I saw this spinning circle of ice. It is being turned by the flow of water from the waterfall, which is just to the right of the ice.
I took two videos but chose this one because it has that plant sticking up out of the water which helps in seeing the movement of the ice since it’s static.
Or static in some ways. If you get tired of watching the ice turn, check out the dead leaves on the plant, they’re dancing up and down in the wind.
