The snow began to melt this afternoon as I was walking in the woods. And where there were rocks and sun, it melted more quickly. The first rock window in the snow I saw was a perfect circle.
I couldn’t see the rock in this one, it was covered with a fern, leaves and grass. But I did touch the rock beneath it all.
This one was shaped like a leaf
And this, a moss-covered rock wrapped in leaves and grass.
I absolutely love these photos.
Especially the second one with the moss.
The last one looks like a fist to me.
I can imagine these inspiring a quilt!
