I was going to buy some soup at the Co-op this morning, but when I got there, I knew it was really chicken soup that Jon needed. So I got some chicken thighs and a stalk of celery (I had the rest of the veggies I needed at home) instead.
When I cut up the onions, carrots celery, and ginger and put them in the pot, they looked so pretty I took a picture.
The soup has been cooking all day, soon we’ll have it for dinner. I hope it tastes as good as it looked to me this morning.
…And?!? How was it?

There are few things in life that are better and more comforting than a good bowl of delicious, homemade chicken soup! And, like chili, then you’re right…it just gets more and more flavorful each time it’s reheated!

That’s look so pretty. I never thought of putting ginger in chicken soup, but I’m sure it helps boost its healing properties. Looking forward to trying that next time I make mine!
