I’ve been trying to entice Liam with special foods over the past few days. But he shows less and less interest in eating. This morning while the rest of the sheep were at the feeders, he came into the polebarn alone.
He seemed confused and tired. I sat with him a while and cleared my mind. Then I asked Liam what I could do. The words, “There is nothing to do” popped into my head.
Are you going to share him before you decide to put him to sleep?
I would have liked to have shorn him after he died Sally, but I don’t have clippers. He had beautiful wool.
I am so sorry for the pain of this goodbye. Liam sounds very wise.
Dear precious Liam. I know you are making his last days bearable. Just please don’t let him suffer. I know you won’t.
so beautiful that you have established an open line of communication
