My three oldest ewes Suzy, Biddy, and Socks made a triangle when I dropped some hay on the ground.
I wanted to wait till the sheep were eating grass before shearing them. I was hoping there would be less skirting that way. That the winter’s hay would have worked its way out of their wool.
But the younger sheep are so fat with wool I’ve decided to shear them in the next few weeks.
I don’t have to bring the wool to the mill until the end of June, so I have plenty of time to clean it up.
