It was the perfect day to brush the donkeys. I was looking for an excuse to spend more time outside and Fanny and Lulu were dirty from rolling on the ground. When I was done I squatted between them taking turns scratching under their chins and rubbing their ears.
That’s when Issachar and Asher got curious. Maybe they wanted some attention too. They peeked at me through the space between Fanny and Lulu but didn’t dare disturb the donkeys.
