I opened up the back pasture for the sheep to graze in. It’s been closed up since the beginning of May and the grass and wildflowers have all come back. Kim found something tasty to eat in the ferns by the marsh.
The rest of the sheep were munching on clover.

Could have sworn in that first picture Kim was an elephant with the trunk reaching for a plant. And I thought dreamily: gosh, now chez Katz has an elephant on the farm. And the weird thing is that this did not even surprise me. And then I recognized Kim. A sheep. Not an elephant. Oh well.
That’s kind of wild Nicky! Like a dream.
