The grapevines grow along the fences on the farm. In the south pasture, they are so thick, they’re like a hedge.
When the vines start to droop over the fence Biddy is the first one to eat them. Asher often joins her, but I don’t think he likes them as much as Biddy does.
Biddy loves grape leaves.
When they’ve eaten all the leaves on their side of the fence, I pull the vines from the other side, into the pasture so the leaves are easier for Biddy and Asher to reach.
Biddy and Asher do a fine job of trimming the grapevines.
