It came so easy. It was just a few days ago that I couldn’t imagine what I’d do next on my fourth quilt for Ellen.
But this morning, it all fell into place. I surrounded it in red then added that cool gray linen. I didn’t have enough of it, but that’s always the fun part. Figuring out how to make it work. Makes for a much more interesting quilt too.
I’m not sure if I’ll start making the fifth and final quilt next or back and tack a few of the ones I have done first.
I’m doing well time-wise, but leaving things for the last minute doesn’t work for me. I like to have a long and endless river of time in front of me when I’m working. Not always possible of course, but I’ve also experienced the flexibility of time.
I’ve tricked myself before.
