They were only out grazing for as long as it took me to muck out the barn and fill up the water bucket. But suddenly the donkeys and sheep came running back to the barn.
I don’t know what got them going. The insects are biting so it may have been that. Or maybe Lulu heard or smelled an animal in the woods behind the farm she didn’t like.
And when the donkeys run, the sheep follow.
