It’s the first time all summer that I’ve seen the Baby Barn Swallows out of the nest.
Usually, I see them flying around the barn, sitting on the gates and wires. But not this year. So I was thrilled when I went into the barn this morning and there were three of them perched on the gate.
I quietly took their picture then went around the barn to the front of the gate, hoping they would still be there.
They sat still long enough for me to get another picture…
Then, all at once, they flew away.
There was one Barn Swallow still in the nest, but I imagine she or he will be flying by tomorrow, if not already.
GREAT silhouette shot!!
🙂
I am loving your baby bird shots! well done!so sweet. love the beak kisses❤️❤️❤️
They are all gone no Nancy. I think that’s the last brood of the season. The barn was so quiet today.
