A Day At Bishop Gibbon’s Setting Up Sewing Machines

Constance, Merricat and Robin

I’m off this morning to meet Sue Silverstein in her Art Room at Bishop Gibbons.   I’ll spend a few hours getting the sewing machines ready for the first day of school.

Jon put up a Wishlist for Sue’s class which sold out in 24 hours thanks to all the people in the Army of Good.

I’m also bringing Sue a bag of old jewelry that Chris sent me for her.  Sue has made an art of coming up with ideas on how to creatively use the old things that people send to her. Things like painting on old pieces of wood and gluing broken jewelry together to make boxes, and hanging sculptures.

Most of the supplies on the Wishlist will help make all of that possible.
