Burping is a necessary part of a sheep’s digestion. As well as chewing their cud, which is when they chew on partially digested food.
When a sheep burps they are letting out methane that builds up in the digestion process. On large sheep farms all that burping contributes to Climate Change.

I get angry when farm animals are asked to take oversized blame for climate change. They are valuable for food and useful products.
