Zip And Then Hens

The Hens are back.  This afternoon the three hens scratched their way through the leaves under the lilac bush and in the garden outside my Studio.

And as they did Zip sat at his post at the barn door as if they’d been doing just this all along.

Perhaps they are finally getting used to each other.
