Another Warm Day In February

Merricat and Robin up front and Issachar, Kim and Socks behind them.

It was another unusually warm day on the farm.  The hens were roaming and when I got close to the gate of the south pasture the sheep were sure I was going to open it for them to graze.

“It may feel and smell like it, but isn’t spring yet,” I told them.

But no matter how warm it is out, it’s still February so grazing will have happen in the barnyard and the back pasture.

The sheep seemed happy enough to get their afternoon hay.
