This morning I pulled out all the Chinese Jute/Velvet Leaf plants that grew in the pasture. They came from the soil that was brought in when we had some septic work done.
I think as long as the seeds didn’t get a chance to fall they won’t come back. But if there are more next year, know now to pull them up before they spread.
Thanks to everyone for your thoughts on this plant.
I’m also pulling up the morning glories, as pretty as they are, that are winding themselves around the vegetable plants in my garden. There are just too many of them and they are tenacious.
But I was delighted when I checked on my drying garlic and saw two flowers on the vine that was wrapped around one of the garlic plants.
No water, no roots and still they blossomed.
