After the baby barn swallow left the nest in the pole barn, I started to see an adult barn swallow flying in an out of the stall barn. It was going to a nest that hadn’t been used yet this year. I could how the nest was feathered making it softer and warmer for the eggs.
They haven’t hatched yet, but the other sign that birds are spending time at the nest is the bird poop under it.
It’s not as easy to take photos in the barn, but I’ll keep an eye on the nest to see when the baby birds hatch.
