Singing About Nothing To The Sheep and Donkeys

The sheep and donkeys were all cozying up this morning, I’m not sure why.   Unless it my singing, which could also have caused them to run.

I can’t remember how it went, I began it by singing to Fate that there was nothing to do because the sheep were all in the barn.  Then it evolved into a song, with a lot of double negatives, about nothing.

That’s Fanny leaning her head on Lulu’s back and Asher and Issachar with their heads down, listening perhaps?

Robin is looking right at me, a bit curiously, I think.

I especially love this picture that Jon took of me singing to Asher and the look on his face.

  1. I read in a dog book (dont’t remember source) that dogs love to hear owners sing. I sing to them often. Vet apt, thunder…always in the car. I wonder if all animals find comfort with a singing voice. I make up lyrics but sing and sing when I can.

    1. I love that Cathy. I do find myself singing to the animals and to no one more often than I would have thought, since I’m not very good at it!:)
