The shallow ponds in the woods are drying up as they often do this time of the year. The mud is thick and deep. Good for cooling off and keeping the bugs away. I waited to get back to the farm and used the hose to clean off the dogs and cool off myself.

Hi Wendy, Maria here, :) And yes, I certainly do hose her down when we get back. But you’d be surprised how much of the mud falls off just by her running in the woods.
