I got the pots done today. Below this Sunday coffee pot added a piece of a Vintage Calorie Counting Hankie.

I used more of the Calorie Hankie as a boarder sound Tuesday’s Pot of boiling water. And I saved a few rows to stand on their own. I’m still working on that one.

For Saturday’s Tea Pot I used the four corners of a single hand embroidered hankie.
Next I start piecing these all together…

I love this so much for so many reasons, but mostly because it makes me smile
Makes me smile too DawnMarie. :)
Whimsy & delight
This is going to be such a fun quilt. The fruit and pots remind me of the kitchen towels on my grandparents farm. My mom and gramma would embroider after cleaning up from feeding the farm workers lunch. I was excited when I got to join in the fun at 5 yrs old. I still have some of the things my mom and gramma embroidered, sadly all those fun kitchen towels got worn through. Thank you for stirring up sweet farm memories! I can’t wait to see how this quilt comes together!
Ah I love that Josie! I also love that the towels were used and got worn out, like my potholders. :)
