Robin On The Wrong Side Of The Fence

Constance and Robin

I already closed the gate to the pasture, so the sheep were grazing in the barnyard where the grass is growing nicely with all the rain we’ve been having.

But it seemed that Robin wanted a little something extra.  Something that was growing on the other side of the fence.

The back pasture is on the other side of the fence and a sheep would have to walk through the marsh or pond to get to it, (which they wouldn’t do) so Robin really can’t get into much trouble.   And I have a feeling it’s something the sheep do  on a regular basis, since the grass is cropped low in front of the bushes.

But still, I didn’t want to leave Robin on the wrong side of the fence.

So I stepped over the six wires in front of Robin and he turned around, pushed through two of the wires, as if he does it all the time, and was back on the other side.
