Taking The Weekend Off

Asher and Issachar under the crab apple tree

This past week I discovered something about my past that I’m going to be dealing with for a while.  It’s all still new to me and I need to take some time to absorb it.

I’m fortunate to have a good therapist who I’ve been working on and off with for a couple of years.  She knows me well and has already been very helpful.

I don’t mean to be mysterious, but I’m not ready to write about it yet.   It has already begun to make its way into my work when I made my Cradled By The Moon Potholders and  painted my pants last Sunday.  I’m also thinking of another piece based on “My Truth has Wings“.

I will be putting my Cradled by the Moon Potholders  up for sale then I will be taking the weekend off.  I want to give myself time to allow my emotions and thoughts to work their way through me without distraction.

To give myself some time and space.

I alway take Saturdays off, but this weekend I will take Sunday off too.  I’ll be back on Monday.

  1. Glad you are caring for yourself so well.
I’ve been working with moon images and themes in my therapy and find it very nurturing.
If there is a cradled by the moon potholder still available I would like one.
