A couple of weeks ago I got a message from someone who found my piece about the Donkey Potholders I made for the Save Your Ass Long Ear Rescue Fundraising Auction a few years ago.
She’s moving and is going to have room for two rescue donkeys when she does. So she asked if I could make her a couple of potholders.
Hard to resist someone who is rescuing a couple of donkeys.
I was planning on making the potholder when Jon and I got back from his eye appointment today. But the electric was out when we got home, so work was delayed. Fortunately, it came back on in time for me to make the two potholders leaving a short amount of time for blogging before Bellydancing class.
But I did get them done. It’s funny how it comes right back, stitching those donkeys and that flying heart. And it’s all so much easier with my new sewing machine.
