Jon’s Beautiful Morning photos have become a regular on his blog. He’s out there with me, in his bathrobe, every day.
His photos are especially moody when the mist is thick and details blur, transforming anything solid into soft silhouettes and muted colors.
If he asked me to pose for the pictures he takes, I wouldn’t. But he doesn’t ask. So I go about my business and he takes his pictures.
The same subject, the same time of day and always something new.
In this way our life together has become a creative collaboration. Each of us living our own individual creative lives that sometimes overlap or even collide, resulting in art that couldn’t exist without the other.
