I started working on some Not Going Back Potholders today.
The fabric with the girls sweeping is vintage four sack fabric from the 1940s. I have a few different colors that I’m surrounding the girls with. The green pillow ticking above then solid red, blue and green.
If the design looks familiar I took it directly from my Not Going Back Quilt. I played with a few other ideas for placing the words and the typeface, but I ended up liking this one best. I feel like the different type faces best illustrate each word.
It took me most of the morning to get the right colors and design. On Monday I’ll start working on more.
