The hens love to sun themselves just outside my studio window. It’s a warm spot, but also close to the lilac bush which is both shade and protection.
This morning Lulu and Fanny were grazing in the tall grasses in the south pasture. Fanny found something tasty to eat growing on the fence. No doubt it’s grape leaves, the grapes haven’t ripened yet.
Such a cool photo of your sweet donkeys grazing. Love it!

Love the orange flowers by the girls
They are marigolds Wendy. I was thinking next year I’ll plant marigold seeds all along that side of my studio because they do so well and last into the fall.
