I finished my Not Going Back Quilt today. Here it is laid out on the guest room bed where I roll a lint brush over it, cut any loose threads and fold it up to be put in a box and mailed to its new home.
Looking at it on the bed it felt even more relevant to me somehow. I guess it’s how it plays into the whole history of women and quilts.
This quilt lead me to making my Not Going Back Potholders (which I hope to finish tomorrow) and my Not Going Back Magnets which I are scheduled to arrive tomorrow.
The message resonates so deeply with me and I know from your messages, with many of you too. I feel like in making this quilt, I’m releasing all those Victorian women form the ties of their time.
I signed, dated and titled the bottom of the quilt as usual.

Beautiful in every way!
Thanks Cyndi.
