I found this tiny snail sliding across the painted chess board on our dining room table after lunch.
She was no doubt on the flowers that I picked for Jon today from the garden. I move the blue stone (lapis?) from the edge of the chess board right in front of the snail and watched her climb right up it.
After I took my video, I carried the snail out on the stone and put her back in the garden.
Oh my! A snail dance on a blue stage – how graceful that was!
And the bright blue stone with the yellow table background showed off her clear translucent beauty so wonderfully. I just watched that multiple times.
It always makes me so happy when someone gets as excited about a snail as I do Amy. I thought she was impressive on that blue stone too. :)
