I didn’t get to finish my second batch of Not Going Back Potholders. The openings still need to be sewn. Then I have to photograph them and put them up for sale in my Etsy Shop.
I was expecting to pick up my car today, but at the last inspection they did, they found that it needed new rear tires. We still had to go back and drop off the check, which is why I didn’t get to finish my potholders or work on the blog post I’ve been trying to get back to about What Witches Wear.
But it’s 6:00 on Friday night and I’m too tired to do much more tonight. Our friend Ian, the poet and shearer is coming for dinner with some new poems. After that he and Jon will play a game or two of chess.
I’ll finish my piece about Witches on Sunday and finish my Potholders on Monday and put them in my Etsy Shop for sale.
I’m looking forward to starting something new in my studio.
I don’t know for sure what I’ll be doing, but I keep thinking of this bag of scraps of red fabric that I have. It’s like all that red is calling to me. So maybe a red chakra quilt. Something earthy and grounding to sink into.
